Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Chennai-Covelong

You will be received by our agent at Chennai Airport and the drive to Hotel at Covelong Beach. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 2: Covelong

After breakfast, fullday sightseeing tour of Covelong with leisure at Covelong beach. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 3: Covelong - Puducherry

After breakfasrt transfer to Mahabalipuram, on your way watch the seven colossal temples carved from a singular granite structure that stands on the sea-shore. In the village you can witness the gigantic wall painting, better called Arjunas Penance. The French colony called Pondicherry seems to retain its old world aura with its architecture and planning. An overnight stay at the hotel would rejuvenate you.

Day 4: Puducherry

The clear morning would show you the way to Gingee blessed with the renowned 15th century Vijayanagar fort. A return to Pondicherry is complete with a visit to the famous Aurobindo Ashram. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 5: Puducherry - Thanjavur

This day begins with your visit to some reputed temples as you drive past the towns of Chidambaram and Kumbakonam towards Tanjore. Here you shall have to stay at Ideal River Resort, overlooking the Cauvery River, for two days.Over night stay at hotel.

Day 6: Thanjavur

Tanjore gives you a glimpse of entire South Indian Temple architecture; the outstanding Chola architecture is visible through the astounding Brihadiswara Temple in Tanjore. The principal attraction of Trichy is its Rock Cut Temple, another magnificent Chola foundation. Located in the Cauvery River Island Srirangam is a fantastic temple; Lord Vishnu is the presiding deity at Sri Ranganathaswami Temple, one of the largest of its kind in India. Day 7: Thanjavur-Madurai

Madurai earns much of its claim to fame for the famous Meenakshi temple, presided by Goddess Meenakshi boasts of its innumerable gopurams, the colossal gateways with vibrant images of gods, mystical figures, animals etc. This is followed by a wrap up at a hotel for the night.

Day 8: Madurai-Kodaikanal

The picturesque drive up to Kodaikanal, a beckoning hill station in South India; lying to the southern summit of Palani Hills the altitude of 2100 meters from the sea level, it beckons tourists from across the globe. Unwind yourself for the night at the hotel.

Day 9: Kodaikanal-Munnar

A drive to Munnar Hill Stations, 1520 meters above the sea level, is an invigorating experience. Observe the exquisite tea orchards, on the slopes of hill. Close to it, the largest Hill Station of South India, Anaimudi Hills, 2695 meters above the sea level beckons a tourist. The cenotaph plaques at Christ Church at the city is a worth a glance. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 10: Munnar-Kochi

Early morning drive to Kochi airport for onward destination.
