Jaipur's blue pottery is a unique craft that uses no clay — instead it's made from quartz stone powder, making it lightweight and durable. In this hands-on workshop with a master craftsman from a family that has practiced the art for six generations, you'll learn the entire process: shaping, glazing, painting traditional motifs (flowers, birds, geometric patterns), and firing. The distinctive blue and white palette comes from cobalt oxide, a technique brought to India from Persia via Central Asia.
