About This Experience
Sanganer village near Jaipur has been the center of India's hand block printing tradition for over 500 years. In this workshop, you'll work alongside artisans who carve intricate wooden blocks and hand-stamp patterns onto fabric using natural dyes. Learn about color mixing from plants and minerals, the art of precise alignment, and how this ancient craft sustains hundreds of families today. UNESCO considers this tradition an important intangible cultural heritage.

Good to Know
Fabric Choice: Cotton works best. We provide the fabric, but you can bring your own scarf/tote.
Drying Time: Your printed fabric needs about 1 hour to dry — we'll provide a bag to carry it.
Village: Combined with a Sanganer village walk to see traditional paper-making (30 min extra).
