Morning half day city tour visiting Vidhan Soudha a four storeyed spacious granite structure in the Neo Dravidian style. Housing the legislative chambers of the State Government, this 46 mtrs. high seat of the Government is Bangalore's best known landmark. Visit the Lal Bagh-these gardens spread over 240 acres were laid out by Haider Ali and further developed by Tipu Sultan in the 18th century. It is one of the best botanical gardens in the country, a paradise with rare trees brought from Persia, Afghanistan and France.Evening transfer to Railway Station to leave for Hospet by Bangalore Hubli Hampi Express at 2225 hrs. by 2nd AC Sleeper.

Arrive at 0750 hrs. and transfer to Hotel. Full day visit to witness magnificent ruins of Hampi (11 km.) and grand renaissance in art and architecture spread over 26 sq kms. The most exciting aspect is that excavations are still going on. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8: Hospet - Aihole - Hospet - Bengaluru

Full day excursion to Aihole; a picturesque village known as cradle of Hindu temple architecture. There are over 100 temples scattered all over the village. Later proceed to Pattadakal which like Hampi is on the world Heritage map of UNESCO. Evening transfer to Railway Station to leave for Bangalore by Hubli Bangalore Hampi Express at 2010 hrs. by 2nd AC Sleeper (overnight on board).

Morning half day visit to Panjim City. Panjim, a former fishing Village, was made the capital of Goa by royal decree from the court of Lisbon. It's spread around 'Altinho' meaning hillock, a residential area with Portuguese style bungalows where the dominant structure is the Patriarch's Palace with the statue of Christ the King on its lawns. From Altinho one gets a panoramic view of Panjim. The oldest monument in Panjim is the Idalco or Adil Shah's Palace built in 1490 and there is also the beautiful Church of our Lady of Immaculate Conception. Afternoon half day visit to Miramar Beach and proceed onwards to Dona Paula en route the Quaint fishing village of Caranzalem. The Dona Paula Bay overlooks Marmagoa, the largest natural harbour in India and the expanse of the Arabian Sea. On the return, drive down through 'Fountainhes' with its Latin atmosphere and quaint houses to Old Goa, the heartland of ancient Christianity, once a bustling metropolis now in ruins. Visit the beautiful Basilica of Bom Jesus where the incorruptable body of St.Francis Xavier is enshrined in a silver casket. Visit the majestic Se Cathedral, which is the largest church in Goa, with its booming golden bell and other churches. Later proceed onto the bustling city of Mapusa noted for its colorful Friday Market. Overnight stay at Hotel.
