On the road to Jodhpur from Udaipur, just 45 kms before Jodhpur one finds an enchanting structure of the Rohetgarh Fort in the village of Rohet. This sturdy fort has been the home to the Rathore of the Champawat dynasty since the 16th century and recently converted in to heritage Hotel.
The beautiful frescoes that adorn the walls, the intricately carved and decorated windows and the objects de art which comprise of antique value objects used by the royalty in the past, topped with the Rajput hospitality, is the main attraction of visiting this fort. A village Safari is another attraction, which gives one an opportunity to visit the real village of Rajasthan.
