The Badhakal lake gets its name form the Persian word Bedakhal meaning, without any interference. This huge lake is placed in such way that it was hard to locate it earlier, hence the name attached to it. The lake nearly 20 kms from the town of Faridabad, is a picturesque picnic spot and one of the favourite getaways of Delhites. Nearby is another lake known as the peacock lake which too is a beautiful spot. Both the lakes offer a splendid view and a facilities for boating etc.
