Dharmadam Island is a beautiful beach, located 17 kms from Kannur near the Muzhapilangad beach. It is believed to be the stronghold of Buddhism in Kerala. It is a small but beautifull 5-acre private island covered with coconut palms and green bushes. Nearly 100 metres away from the main land, one needs special permission to visit this beautiful jewel in the sea.
