Description:
The Chamravattom Sastha Temple, is 6 kms from Mallapuram and is constructed on the banks of Bharathapuzha. It is the only temple dedicated to Garuda, the eagle, official vehicle of Lord Vishnu. Angadipuram is important pilgrimage centre for both Muslims as well as Hindus as it has temple of Goddess Durga and the Puthanangadi Mosque which Arabic scriptures inscribed on its planks. The other important ones are the Jama-at mosque, Malappuram Mosque, Thali temple, Trikandiyur Shiva Temple.
