Description: Anandpur Sahib, the abode of happiness and peace with its numerous Gurudwaras stands out in the picturesque background against the Naina Devi mountain range. This is place was founded by the ninth teacher of the Sikh, Guru Tegh Bahadur. It is also famous for the place where the tenth guru, Guru Gobind Singh baptised the first five Sikhs called Panj Piare. Other than its innuemrous Gurudwaras and historic importance, the city is famous for the different celebration of the Holi festival as the Hola Mohalla. The wonderful display of the martial arts, an ancient tradition by the young is one of the main attractions of the festival.
