One of the biggest sports training centre in India, the HVPM was established in the early 20th century with the motto of training the youth to fight imperialism of British. Today it covers a vast area of Amaravati. Training for almost all indoor and outdoor games is given here. It boasts of a Olympic size swimming pool and naturopathy treatments.
