Description:
This artificial lake located to the north of the city was built by Anaji during 1135-1150A.D. Mughal emperors, Jehangir and Shahajehan added to the beauty of the embankment by raising Bardari, the marble pavilions and developing the Daulat Bagh Gardens. But later this lake was converted into circuit house by the British residency.
