Before Bhavsinhji founded Bhavnagar Sihor was the capital of Gohil Rajputs. Excellent wall paintings depicting battle scenes, armies, cavalries, etc. are found in Sihor Darbargadh. The nearby Brahma Kund is known for its excellent quality of water.
