In between you visit the ancient marvels in stone the Ajanta and the Ellora caves and later nature''s glory, the state of Gujarat. The GIR FOREST in Gujarat is the only surviving home of the Asiatic Lion since 1914 and is considered to be one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in the World. The state''s 1600 km long and spectacular coastline offers a rare holiday experience replete with water sports, rich bird and marine life, fishing villages and historic monuments. Ahmedpur Mandvi is one of the finest beaches on the Gujarat shoreline. White and firm, the beach is ideal for long walks and its clear waters perfect for swimming. Morning after breakfast leave for Ajanta caves visiting 2000 year old 30 rock-hewn caves where paintings recount the life of Lord Buddha and the tales of this prince's earthly experiences.Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Aurangabad - Mumbai

Morning after breakfast transfer to airport to depart for Mumbai.Arrive and transfer from airport to Hotel. Afternoon half day motor launch excursion to Elephanta caves the glorious abode of Lord Shiva with its marvellous sculptured panels-nine in all-set like tableaux on the walls. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: Mumbai - Bhavnagar - Sasan Gir

Morning departure transfer to airport to depart for Bhavnagar. Arrive and transfer to Hotel at Sasan Gir. Evening visit Sasan Gir wild life sanctuary. The park has more than 300 lions and also houses one of the largest leopard populations in India. Overnight stay at hotel.

Morning visit the sanctuary again to see the majestic King of the wilderness. Afternoon visit the sanctuary again. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7: Sasan Gir - Ahmedpur Mandvi

Morning proceed for Ahmedpur Mandvi beach. Enroute visit Somnathpur -the famous Shiva temple on the shore of the Arabian Sea. Arrive Ahmedpur Mandvi and stay at Hotel. Afternoon relax on the beach.Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8: Ahmedpur Mandvi - Palitana - Bhavnagar

Morning depart by surface for Bhavnagar. Enroute visit Palitana-863 temples atop Shetrunjaya Hills where flight of 572 steps take you up to the hills. One can also use chairslings if desired. Arrive and check -in at hotel. Afternoon half day city tour visiting Central Salt and Marine Research Institute, Takhteshwar temple and Gandhi Smriti. Overnight stay at hotel.

Morning full day excursion to MODHERA- where famous sun temple claims its place among India's most significant monuments and it is one of the few sun temples in existence and visit PATAN-famous for its special 'PATOLA' Silk sarees and seven storey Rani-Vav Stepwell which has delicately carved romantic sculpture. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11: Ahmedabad - Delhi

Arrive and half day city tour visiting Adalaj Step well, Gandhi Ashram, Calico Museum of Textiles, Sidi Sayyad's Mosque - shaking minarets are an architectural wonder. Evening transfer to airport to leave by air for Delhi. Arrive and transfer from airport to Hotel.

Day 12: Delhi - Agra - Delhi

Early morning transfer to railway station to leave by India's fastest train Shatabdi Express at 0600 hrs. by AC chair car breakfast on board. ArriveAgra at 0755 hrs. andvisit the World famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in the year 1652 as a memorial for his beloved wife MumtazMahal. The grandeur called the Taj is perhaps the most photographed, filmed, described and sketched building of the world. Taj Mahal is where fantasy coincides with reality in perfect harmony. An inspiration for innumerous artists over the centuries, the Taj is an ode to love. It took 22 years to create this jewel. After Lunch visit The Agra Fort built and renovated over the centuries, this massive fort gained recognition only during the Mughal reign. Evening transfer to railway station to leave by Shatabdi express at 2018 hrs. by AC chair car ( dinner on board ).Arrive Delhi at 2250 hrs. and transfer to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 13: Delhi

Morning half-day city tour of Old Delhi visiting Raj Ghat the Mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort. You may take a tricycle tour of Chandini Chowk. Afternoon half day city tour of New Delhi visiting drive past President House, Parliament House (House of Representatives) and India Gate - War Memorial (stop for photography). Visit the Qutub Minar , 72.55 meters high Victory Tower and proceed onto Bahai Temple (lotus temple). Also visit the Humayun's Tomb built of red sandstone, the first substantial example of the Mughal architecture and Laxmi Narayan Temple - a modern Hindu temple built by the Birlas, leading Indian industrialists. Evening departure transfer to airport to fly back home onward destination.
