Day 1: Guwahati
Friday, May 24, 2024 - Saturday, May 25, 2024

Upon your arrival at Guwahati, you will be transferred to your hotel. There will be an overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 2: Guwahati - Cherrapunji
Saturday, May 25, 2024 - Sunday, May 26, 2024

After breakfast, you will visit the Kamakhya Temple, a Major Hindu Pilgrimage site. This will be followed by a drive to Cherapunjee (170 Kms), the wettest region. En-route, you will visit the Borapani Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake surrounded by sylvan hills. There will be an overnight stay at a hotel in Cherrapunjee.

Day 3: Cherrapunji
Sunday, May 26, 2024 - Monday, May 27, 2024

Aften an early breakfast, you will walk to the Double Decker Livng Root Bridge. You will then return to the Chera Tourist Resort after a picnic lunch on the bridge. You will stay overnight at Cherapunjee.

Day 4: Cherrapunji
Monday, May 27, 2024 - Tuesday, May 28, 2024

After an early breakfast, you will walk to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. This bridge is an engineering marvel of Indegenous Khasi Tribesmen, who weaved the roots of certain trees to make bridges across streams. After a picnic lunch at the bridge, you will return back to the hotel for an evening of leisure.
 
You will stay overnight at Cherapunjee.

Day 5: Cherrapunji - Shillong
Tuesday, May 28, 2024 - Wednesday, May 29, 2024

After breakfast, you will drive to Shillong, the 'Scotland of the East". En-route, you will encounter the Elephanta falls and will stop at the Shillong peak for some breathtaking views.
 
There will be an overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 6: Shillong
Wednesday, May 29, 2024 - Thursday, May 30, 2024

In the morning, you will leave for a tour of Shillong.

Day 7: Shillong - Kaziranga
Thursday, May 30, 2024 - Friday, May 31, 2024

Early in the morning, you will drive down to the famous Kaziranga National park. In the afternoon, you will take a Jeep safari. You will stay overnight at the Kaziranga National Park.

Day 8: Kaziranga
Friday, May 31, 2024 - Saturday, June 1, 2024

Early in the morning, you will explore the Kaziranga National park on an elephant. This will give you an amazing opportunity to observe the fascinating One-horned rhinoceros, along with a wide range of other rare species. After lunch, you will take a jeep safari to the central area of the park. You will have the rest of the day to explore nature. The night will be spent at a tourist Lodge.

Day 9: Kaziranga - Kohima
Saturday, June 1, 2024 - Sunday, June 2, 2024

After breakfast, you will begin your drive to Kohima (4hrs drive approximately). On arrival, you will have lunch at a restaurant in Kohima and will then proceed to the Touphema Village Resort, run by Angami Naga village community. You will stay overnight at the Touphema Tourist village.

Day 10: Touphema - Kohima
Sunday, June 2, 2024 - Monday, June 3, 2024

After breakfast, you will drive back to Kohima.
 
If you are visiting during December then you will be able to attend the Hornbill Festival (December 1st to 5th). This five days festival has Cultural Events, Traditional Dances & Folk Songs, display of Handloom & Handicrafts, Ethnic Naga food Stalls, Exhibition of flowers, Arts & Crafts etc.
 
During the day, you will also visit The State Museum. Later, you will proceed to Kepfiizha (Kigwema village) and check into the Dimori Cove Guest. There will be an overnight stay at this resort.

Day 11: Kipfiizha - Dziikuo valley
Monday, June 3, 2024 - Tuesday, June 4, 2024

In the morning, you will drive to the Dziikou valley via the Jakhama village. The drive will end at a point from where one has to trek up to the Dzukou valley. The trek takes about 4hrs. There will be an overnight stay in one of the rest houses/rock caves or tents.

Day 12: Dziikou Valley - Kipfiizha
Tuesday, June 4, 2024 - Wednesday, June 5, 2024

In the morning, you will explore the beautiful Dzikou valley. Post Lunch you will return to the Dimori Cove and proceed to Hornbill Festival (Only in December). There will be an overnight stay at the Dimori Cove.

Day 13: Kohima - Khonoma
Wednesday, June 5, 2024 - Thursday, June 6, 2024

In the morning, you will check out of the Dimori Cove & drive to Khonoma, an Angami Tribal village. Afterwards you will return to Kohima for an overnight stay.

Day 14: Kohima - Jorhat
Thursday, June 6, 2024 - Friday, June 7, 2024

Early in the morning, you will drive to Jorhat, the tea-capital of Assam. On arrival, you will check in at your Hotel. Overnight stay in Jorhat.

Day 15: Jorhat - Dirang
Friday, June 7, 2024 - Saturday, June 8, 2024

You will have an early morning departure with a packed breakfast. You will drive through the picturesque tea gardens of Tezpur to reach Bhalukpung (130km), on the foothills of Eastern Himalayas. After entry formalities and lunch, you will enter Arunachal Pradesh, a place of unending natural beauty. After driving for 20 minutes approximately, you will arrive at Tipi. In Tipi, you will visit the Orchidarium, a glass house having 7500 orchids.
 
Later, you will drive on to Dirang (130 km), where you will check into the hotel.

Day 16: Dirang - Sela Pass
Saturday, June 8, 2024 - Sunday, June 9, 2024

Today, early in the morning, you will visit the upper and the lower 'Gompa' (Buddhist Monastery) at Bomdilla. After a leisurely breakfast, you will depart for the Sela Pass (13703 ft) after which, you will visit the centuries old Dirang Basti a 'Dirang Monpa' tribal village.
 
You will camp on the Sela pass (13703ft).

Day 17: Sayla - Chabrilla
Sunday, June 9, 2024 - Monday, June 10, 2024

After breakfast, you will start trekking with packed lunch to the Chabrilla camp. There will be an overnight stay in tents.

Day 18: Chabrilla - Nurarang - Tawang
Monday, June 10, 2024 - Tuesday, June 11, 2024

After breakfast, you will start trekking for Nurarang (with packed lunch). Here, you will visit the Nurarang High altitude Trout Fish Farm. Later in the day, you will drive from Nurarang to Tawang; the blessed land of Monpas. There will be an overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 19: Tawang
Tuesday, June 11, 2024 - Wednesday, June 12, 2024

After breakfast, you will visit a 350 years old Buddhist monastery, locally known as Gompa, which seems to be suspended from heaven. You will then visit the nunneries, locally called the Ani Gompa, and also the Urgelling Monastery, 460 years old Monastery, which is also the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama. In the evening, you will enjoy several ethnic Monpa and Lama tribal dances. There will be an overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 20: Tawang - Dirang
Wednesday, June 12, 2024 - Thursday, June 13, 2024

You will have an early morning drive to Jang. Here, you will encounter breathtaking waterfalls, before moving onto the beautiful town of Dirang (150km). En-route, you will also visit the Sela Top (14000 ft). There will be an overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 21: Sangti Valley
Thursday, June 13, 2024 - Friday, June 14, 2024

You will trek in the Sangti Valley. You will camp overnight in the hills.

Day 22: Sangti Valley - Dirang
Friday, June 14, 2024 - Saturday, June 15, 2024

In the morning, you will begin your trek to the valley to look at the rare Black Necked Cranes wintering at Sangti. Later, you will return to the Dirang Resort for some much needed refreshment. There will be an overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 23: Dirang - Bhalukpong
Saturday, June 15, 2024 - Sunday, June 16, 2024

Early in the morning, you will drive onto Bhalukpung (breakfast will be packed). After lunch, you will raft down the Jia Bhoreli River to the Nameri national Park. There will be an overnight stay at Nameri National Park.

Day 24: Bhalukpong - Guwahati
Sunday, June 16, 2024 - Monday, June 17, 2024

In the morning, you will walk inside the National Park on the Tigers Trail. You will return to the resort for Breakfast, after which you will go rafting on Jia Bhoreli and take an Elephant ride to the National park. After a picnic lunch, you will return to Guwahati. You will spend a night in Guwahati.

Day 25: Guwahati
Monday, June 17, 2024 - Tuesday, June 18, 2024

You will get an opportunity to explore this city, located in the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River. In the evening, you will set out on a River cruise to watch the beautiful sunset from the water.
