Tawang perched at a height of over 10,000 ft, is world-renowned for its 400-year-old Buddhist Monastery, one of the biggest in India. The Monastery was founded by the monk Mera Lama, a contemporary of the fifth Dalai Lama. The sixth Dalai Lama was born here. The Tawang Monastery has an interesting collection of Thangkas (Tibetan painting on cloth) and a large gilded statue of Sakyamuni (the historical Buddha) in the prayer hall. The Tawang Monastery, also known as the -Galden Namgyal Lhatse-, is beautifully situated on a spur about 2 km from the heart of the town. Overnight in Hotel

Drive to Along (167 kms / Approx 7 hrs drive). Along the headquarter of West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 300m inhabitants of Adi (Gallong) tribes. Overnight stay in Along.
Day 12: Along - Pasighat

Morning drive to Pasighat (100 kms / 5 hrs drive). Post lunch visit Adi (Minyong, Pasi etc) Tribal village near river Yomgo and later visit Patum bridges, a cane and bamboo hanging bridge/swinging bridge over river yomgo. Overnight stay at Guest or Circuit House.
Day 13: Pashighat - Dibrugarh
