Enchey Monastery, Research Institute of Tibetology, Chorten and world famous

Day 6: Gangtok - Lachung

Pick from Gangtok Hotel and transfer to Lachung (117 kms / 05 1/2 hrs). En route sightseeing of Kabilungtsok, Naga Waterfalls and Holy Rock at Chungthang. Lunch enroute. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: Lachung - Yumthang - Lachung

Day 8: Lachung - Gangtok

Transfer to Gangtok. On the way, see mighty Kanchendzonga from Singhik (subjected to good weather condition) and visit

Day 9: Gangtok - Phuntsoling

Day 11: Thimphu

After breakfast, we will visit the National Library which hosts a vast collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts, the School of Thangkha paintings and the Traditional Medicine Institute. We will also pass through the Trashi Chhodzong, where the administrative head quarters of ministries are located. Lunch will be served in one of the restaurants in town, where both local as well as international cuisines are available. In the afternoon, we could drive to Dochula, which is approximately 23 Kms from Thimphu. On a clear day, the snow-capped peaks of Mt.Gangkar Puensum, Table Mountain, Jeje Khang, Masakhang and Gangcheyta could be seen. The One Hundred and Nine Chortens (stupas), Dinner will be served in Hotel Taktsang.
Day 12: Thimphu - Paro
Tuesday, June 4, 2024 - Wednesday, June 5, 2024
After breakfast, drive to Paro.Check in at Hotel Olathang.We will visit the ruins of Drugyel Dzong. On the way to Drugyel Dzong, we will be passing through many local houses built in traditional styles. You can also have the view of famous Taktsang Monastery from the way to Drugyel Dzong. For lunch, we will choose a restaurant in the town depending on your interest and choice of meals. After lunch we will visit the National Museum or Ta Dzong (an ancient watch tower), which has a fine collection of Thangkha paintings, weapons and artifacts. After the visit to Ta Dzong we will take a short walk to Rimpung Dzong, the administrative head quarter of Paro district. Dinner will be served in one of the hotels in the town. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 13: Paro - Delhi
Wednesday, June 5, 2024 - Thursday, June 6, 2024
Transfer to Paro airport to connect flight for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and immediate connect flight for onward destination.
