Day 2: Delhi - Dehradun - Mussoorie

After early breakfast Morning leave by India's fastest train Shatabdi Exp. for Dehradun from Delhi. Transfer to Mussorie (34 kms, 1 hrs.drive). Upon arrival at Mussorie check-in at Hotel. Evening at leisure.Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Mussoorie
Saturday, May 25, 2024 - Sunday, May 26, 2024

Mussorie, once called the Queen of the Hills, affords an enchanting view of the Doon valley on one side and of the Yamuna valley and snow-capped Himalayan ranges on the other side. The road rises from 640 mts. to 2005 mts. within an hour and a half to reach the gay, friendly and cosmopolitan Mussorrie. The air is still pure and invigorating,the mountains majestic, and the plains below green and verdant to the jaded eye. Morning visit Lal Tibba, Mussorie's highest peak and from Gun Hill, the second highest peak in Mussorie, view the panoramic view of Himalayas -Bunderpoonch, Srikantha, Pithwara and the Gangotri group. Happy valley(Tibetan township),Municipal Garden, is a delightful picnic spot with the added attractions of an artificial mini lake and paddle boating facilities. Leisurely walk on Camel's Back road ( a distance of three kms.) is worth taking and onto Kempty Falls. A stroll down the mall in the evening is recommended. you would get flavours of Mussorie's British origins as well as a taste of its excellent bakeries and restaurants. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Mussoorie - Dehradun - Delhi

After noon transfer to Dehradun railway station to leave by Shatabdi Exp.for Delhi.Arrive Delhi and transfer to Hotel.

Day 5: Delhi - Agra

After breakfast morning half-day city tour of Old Delhi visiting Raj Ghat - the Mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort. you may take a tricycle tour of Chandini Chowk.Afternoon proceed to Agra (4 hrs. drive). Upon arrival check-in at Hotel.Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6: Agra - Jaipur

After breakfast half day city tour visiting the World famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in the year 1652 as a memorial for his beloved wife MumtazMahal. The grandeur called the Taj is perhaps the most photographed, filmed, described and sketched building of the world. Taj Mahal is where fantasy coincides with reality in perfect harmony. An inspiration for innumerous artists over the centuries, the Taj is an ode to love. It took 22 years to create this jewel. The Agra Fort built and renovated over the centuries, this massive fort gained recognition only during the Mughal reign. Tomb of Itmad ud Daulah - built by Empress Noorjehan in the memory of her father.After lunch drive to Jaipur (05 hrs. drive) - the pink city of India. The capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink, a century ago in the honour of a visiting Prince, ever since it has retained the pink colour. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri (40 kms. From Agra) - once the capital of Mughal Empire and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. Its fortifications and Palaces are in a wonderful state of preservation. Upon arrival at Jaipur check-in at hotel.Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Jaipur - Delhi

Morning visit Amber Fort - remarkable for the majestic grandeur of its surroundings as for its sturdy battlements and beautiful palaces. Climb up to the fort on the back of an Elephant or by jeeps.Afternoon city tour visiting City Palace - where the former Maharaja still resides in a part of it, but rest now serves as a Museum. Also visit Jantar Mantar, an observatory built by a great astronomer Sawai Jai Singh onto drive past through Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds).Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8: Delhi
Thursday, May 30, 2024 - Friday, May 31, 2024

After breakfast half day sightseeing of New DelhI. Visit Humayun's Tomb, the towering Qutub Minar, The India Gate and Jama Masjid Delhi. Afternoon free at leisure. Evening transfer to the international airport for onward destination.
